Airpocket Cycling
Building a cycling institution, not just a cycling team.
Airpocket Cycling began as a cycling team and is evolving into a broader sports platform focused on competition, talent development, community and opportunity.
The team has competed at major regional and international events, including the 2025 UCI Road World Championships in Kigali. Registration with Kenya's Ministry of Sports marked another step in building the organisation around the team.
The organisation is also building the infrastructure around the sport: events, riders, partnerships, sponsorships and community programmes.
Beyond racing
Airpocket's ambition extends beyond putting riders on the start line. Cycling based rehabilitation work being developed with the Akili programme is one example of how sport can become a tool for social transformation.
